Brel Bar Restaurant: Belgian Pub on Ashton Lane

Converted from a coach house on Ashton Lane, Brel has always been a favourite pub — with an excellent range of bottled and draught beers, and a decent kitchen, it’s ideal for both the Friday night and the next day’s lunch. From behind the bar, Hoegaarden Grand Cru is certainly worth trying if you haven’t already.

It’s always busy, and quite noisy, so don’t count on finding a seat; still, it’s certainly worth the effort.
